Avant, il rencontre le Doyen Vandewalle, auquel il fait la promesse que s&rsquo;il revient \u201csain et sauf\u201d il construira une chapelle En 1954 il tient sa promesse et \u00e9rige la Chapelle de Notre Dame du Mont Carmel \u00e0 Bailleul -Eeckelstraete- adoss\u00e9e \u00e0 sa ferme. Cette chapelle \u00e9voque le double souvenir de la Vierge et de Sainte Th\u00e9r\u00e9se.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La b\u00e9n\u00e9diction de la chapelle,le 4 avril 1954, se fera en pr\u00e9sence du doyen Vandewalle et d&rsquo;un Abb\u00e9 de la paroisse de St Vaast de Bailleul.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group has-background\" style=\"background-color:#f8f8f8\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Qui \u00e9tait Notre Dame du Mont Carmel ?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Notre-Dame du Mont-Carmel, \u00e9galement connue sous le nom de Vierge du Carmel, est un titre donn\u00e9 \u00e0 la Vierge Marie dans l&rsquo;\u00c9glise catholique. Ce titre est li\u00e9 au mont Carmel en Terre Sainte, un lieu associ\u00e9 \u00e0 la d\u00e9votion mariale depuis l&rsquo;Antiquit\u00e9. L&rsquo;ordre du Carmel, fond\u00e9 au d\u00e9but du XIIIe si\u00e8cle, est \u00e0 l&rsquo;origine de cette d\u00e9votion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La d\u00e9votion \u00e0 Notre-Dame du Mont-Carmel est particuli\u00e8rement li\u00e9e au scapulaire, un v\u00eatement religieux que les fid\u00e8les portent en signe de d\u00e9votion et de protection.
