This is a beautiful and very rich website. I am just at the start of efforts to create a similar site. Much of my research has been contained within an Ancestry account but I want to make the work Iâve done there more visible/available to extended family. I am not a coder, and with some assist from ChatGPT have managed to build a WordPress site, acquire a domain name/host, and install TNG software. But Iâm quite frustrated in efforts to bring it all together. Do you have any advice for someone at my stage of development?

I completely understand where you are in the process â bringing together WordPress, TNG, and your existing research can feel overwhelming at first, especially when most of your work has lived inside Ancestry. Youâve already done the hardest parts: setting up WordPress, choosing a host, installing TNG, and getting your domain in place. The rest is mainly about finding the right structure and workflow.
For my own site, I use the method described here:

It provides a clean and reliable way to integrate TNG into WordPress without iframes, and keeps the visual style consistent across both systems.
